Do NOT pay full price.This program offers a variety of ambient noises that you can layer to create your own custom ambiance. As I write this, I'm currently listening to frogs and crickets chirp beside a campfire. Very simple and not bad, but I have two major critiques, one of which may be a potential dealbreaker; the first is, there is no master volume control. There are individual volume controls for each layer of sound, but no master. I had to go into my computer's volume options and manually turn down the program's volume which is a HUGE oversight and completely unacceptable (there is no universal mute button either). The other major problem I had was that there doesn't seem to be any way to minimize it, it is permanently taking up space in my taskbar. I also feel that, given the nature of this program, it should have the ability to launch independently of Steam, but that's more of a personal preference.If these problems are addressed in the future and resolved, I will change the recommendation on this review to a yes, but the issues are just too big for me to overlook at this time.As more of a suggestion to the dev team, I would like to see more sound options added, even if it were only DLC. More options for a variety of birds, things like windchimes or the occasional chitter of an animal, maybe different intensities of leaves rustling. Farm noises could be a great idea for a DLC bundle, or maybe even city noises (in spite of the name Nature Relax). A Steam Workshop would be a great idea too. v2.8c small patch: This patch fixes a few little things that someone brought up: Removed text from Ball tutorial that lied (big oops) Changed an attack pattern on shmup boss (after the wall) to make completing the fight possible as BallIf you see things that don't seem balanced or fair be sure to bring them up, I'll fix any issues as soon as I can and add any features that seem like good, viable options.Thanks,Ben. v2.5: Level fix: Turns out there was a bug right at the start of the game that made you the incorrect level. If you'd made it past The Wall bossfight this bugged out your upgrades. I've been meaning to do this for a while but I just couldn't think of a good way that felt good to me. Turns out the solution was really simple: The Ball now has life points, hitting minimum radius will now damage the player the same way The Snake takes damage. The Ball now has the same difficulties as The SnakeI feel pretty dumb for not realizing how easy a fix this is and how long it took me to put in.
